How did this man sell 6 cars per day, every day for 15 years?
And do you want the same results in your business?
There was a time, a decade or so ago, when you could almost guarantee that someone would read your email because so few emails were being sent.
And because there were so much direct-mail being used for marketing, it was highly likely that your letter would be put aside and not read for some time, if at all.
These days it is the other way around.People receive so much email, and it is so easy to delete an email, that you can not be sure that your email marketing will be read and retained unless it has high relevance to the reader at the time.
(Having said that, we still highly recommend email marketing and social media connectivity as a cornerstone of your website platform because it does work!)
On the other hand, now, people receive so little direct mail these days that a letter or card sent in the post is almost guaranteed to be opened, read and retained.
Let’s take a detour . . .
. . . and meet the World’s Greatest Salesman, as recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records!

Joseph Samuel Gerard, better known as Joe Girard, (born November 1, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan) is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s greatest salesman for twelve consecutive years.
Between 1963 and 1978, he sold 13,001 cars at a Chevrolet dealership, or an average of 6 cars each and every working day.

How did Joe Girard sell 6 cars a day, everyday?
He built and maintained relationships.
Joe would send 13 cards to all his prospects and clients every year.
One every month and one for Christmas. He created a place for himself in the brains of his prospects and clients by keeping in touch with them.
So, back to the here and now . . . and to your business.
Wouldn’t you love to have people queuing up to buy your product from you?
But how many existing customers do you have?
10, or 100 or maybe even 1,000.
The time, cost and effort of sending out 1,000 cards per month would be horrendous . . . even if the payoff was high.
Thank goodness for modern technology!
Now you can follow Joe Girard’s strategy easily and simply in your own business.
