No, it really is quite simple to do – regardless of whether you DIY or get our audio-visual team to produce the video for you.
Here’s how I collected this latest testimonial.
We have just built a new website for Roger, (which is about to be launched), and I was training him how to use our website software.
He starting saying how impressed he was with the software, how easy it was to use, how it has everything in one place, etc, etc.
It was the perfect testimonial, so I asked him if I could record it.
When he said YES, I whipped out my iPhone and 60 seconds later, it was all done.
Then I uploaded the video to our website and added it to the Testimonials webpage.
So – what are you waiting for?
Start asking your clients for testimonials now, and capture them on video for your website.
Unless your client is a really confident speaker, ask them to repeat it 2-3 times. You’re bound to get a good recording by the time they have done it 3 times.
Be aware of background noise and lighting. The recording doesn’t have to be cinema quality, but you want it to be easily heard and understood.
