Folks, I need a favour…
I’m speaking at InOrbit in a couple of weeks. There’s a lot I want to talk about (most of the feedback I’ve got – “too much content”).
But the other big thing is building a narrative, especially into the opening.
I’ve been reading around and you being to see the same old stuff. But the best way to teach is to show, not tell.
So the best way to learn (or maybe learn *this*) stuff is to see, not read.
So I started looking up a bunch of publicly accessible presentations in the marketing space.
To see what people do to in the opening few minutes to hook an audience.
I started curating and watching a handful of videos with great openings. I’d love your help curating more.
If you post in the comments a link to a public URL that’s embeddable (YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia…), I’ll use my admin powers-that-be to embed it into the top here.
Together we can hopefully curate a neat resource.
