Yes!
Multiple Streams of Marketing
If your business has just one marketing strategy and that goes flat, your business is headed for disaster.
And it may not recover from it quickly enough to save the business from going under.
And . . .
It doesn’t matter what that one strategy is – whether it is:
- TV or print media,
- website or social media,
- telemarketing or networking,
- letterbox drops or door knocking.
If there is only one strategy and it stops, so does your business.
Back in my franchise development days, we instructed the franchisers to develop 10 different marketing strategies for their franchisees to work on.
Not 10 different applications of the one strategy, like 10 newspaper adverts.
But 10 different strategies.
I wish that I could say, “take out the folder where you have your Top 10 Marketing Strategies listed”, but few businesses are that well organised with their marketing. Kudos to you if you are one of them.
I have written elsewhere that you should “Find What Works And Then Do That”.
So, stop right now! And write down each of your current marketing strategies.

If you cannot write down 10 in the list, then think back to what you have done before that worked, and add that to the list.
It does not matter if you haven’t done it in a long while, or if you are not sure if it will work now.
You should have 10 strategies on fire at all times.
If you need to add new strategies, then you Test & Measure the effectiveness of these as you go.
Then put procedures in place to make sure that each of those activities gets done regularly – each day, week or month.
