Everywhere on my website I say that to add value, a website must be much more than just the traditional “Brochure Website”.
That it must have Business and Marketing Tools built-in from the start.
So here are some quick tips on what that is about
which you will find useful.
I do not mind giving these tips here, because I know that many web developers have no understanding of these business principles.
I was talking with someone recently about newsletters in their website, and they reported back that their current web developer had no idea about this.
I was astounded!
It’s amazing how many websites still do not have a basic contact form.
An e-mail address printed on your website is an invitation to get SPAMed. Don’t do it!
Use a contact form so that people can contact you directly without exposing your e-mail address to spammers.

Then link the contact form to your E-mail newsletter so that you can easily and automatically keep in touch with these new contacts until they are ready to become your customers.
And ease of use, make sure that your e-mail program is integrated and built into the website.

But why stop there?
You have other you applications in your business, such as online accounting software and CRM software.
Let’s link those new enquiries directly into your business software.

Adding content to your website
We have just build a website for a franchise company.
This website allows the franchisees to add content to the website in a standard format approved by the franchiser.
