Have you found your new Competitive Advantage . . . because it is probably not what you think it is . . .
I just read this very interesting article. At first I wasn’t engaged by it, but it gradually sucked me in with the subtle things that it said.
It started out talking about competitive advantage and that standard things link brand identity, marketing strategy, etc. But we need to look deeper than that because everything is becoming so homogenised in our society;so much the same.
“Competitive advantage occurs when an organization acquires or develops an attribute or combination of attributes that allows it to outperform its competitors.”
This is where the article caught my attention
How you run your business can be a competitive advantage.
Unlike marketing and pricing, it’s a factor that your competitors cannot see. This makes it to copy and so it is difficult to beat you at that game.
Finding these advantages requires thinking differently to how we think now.
“If you don’t have a competitive advantage, don’t compete.”
