Content Is King – Two Keys For Success

You know the old saying – Content Is King!

It is as true today as it was yesterday. The content you create and post tells the story of your business. It is how you communicate with your clients and conveys the message you want them to know about you.

This is how to make your website really attractive and at the same time informative for your visitors. Your business should know how to create a balance between the static & dynamic content.

Static & dynamic content, although very different in their natures, when combined correctly will help create a high-value and content-rich business website.

Since the old saying “Content Is King” will almost always stand, let’s get to know more about static & dynamic website content.

These are 2 forms of content that when combined well, will help boost the quality of your business website and the Blogs you wrote.

1) Static Content

content is king

Static content is what will provide the permanent structure for your website.

It will appear the exact same way to anyone who visits the site. Examples of static content are product guides, reference materials, how-tos, service descriptions, etc.

Static content is what can provide relevant and substantive reference material that can add value for your website visitors. This will help retain them on your site for a longer time and eventually boost your business’s conversion rates.

Static content comes with both pros & cons. For one thing, it is cheaper & quicker to develop than dynamic content. This is why it’s been used by many small businesses for their business website. Plus, static pages can rank in search results for the business’s keywords, and able to attract links from third parties.

Moreover, static pages are better as indexed pages, which lead to more opportunities for the business to be found. Static content also has a longer shelf life compared to that of dynamic content.

The downside of static content is that it will need to be updated periodically. Also, static content might get stagnant at some point. This will consequently make the website not as useful for the user.

2) Dynamic Content

Dynamic content is what keeps your site fresh, which encourages repeated visits from your customers.

This type of content will appear different to each website visitor at any given time. Some examples of dynamic content are the business blog, industry news, media releases, user-generated content, etc.

Dynamic content gives the business the ability to exploit trending topics and tap into the quality function deployment element of Google’s algorithm. This can help bring more people to the site. Dynamic web pages are short & time-sensitive, which makes it easier for the business to share on social media.

The website owner is able to have full control over dynamic content. They can perform updates & add new content to the site whenever they want.

Content is King, so mix them up!

Although it can be perceived that a dynamic website is better than a static one, the dynamic content is not necessarily better than static content as each of them cater to different purposes.

An excellent business website is one that knows how to combine these two types of content together seamlessly to create a stimulating experience for their visitors.
