Brisbane Good Food and Wine Show
Yes, it’s on again – the Brisbane Good Food and Wine Show!
Anita and Darren from Bistro Tea have a stand at the Brisbane Good Food and Wine Show where you can check out their great range of Bistro Teas and Tea products.
Especially because they are giving . . .
away a great Bistro Tea Package at the show as well as lots of fresh cups of tea.
So when you are feeling a bit tired from all the walking around the exhibition, head on over to the Bistro Tea stand for a refreshing cup of tea.
What more could you ask for?
Now . . .
We were just putting the finishing touches on their new website when they mentioned how busy they are preparing for the Brisbane Good Food and Wine Show.
After I got off the phone from talking with them, my marketing creator brain went into overdrive.
I quickly called them back and proposed the following . . .
- Come up with a great give-away package for the show
- Create a new page on the website with an email opt-in form
- Make a QR Code that opens the web page with the optin
- Build posters and flyers for the show with the QR Code displayed as well as a link to the page
Then encourage people to use the iPhone or other smart phone to scan the QR Code, taking them to the registration page . . .
. . . where they type in the first name and email address
to be in the draw for an amazing Bistro Tea Package.
This will simplify the registration process – fewer bits of paper flying around everywhere – and more importantly, it will reduce the admin overhead of uploading the email addresses.
A great marketing idea created in a few minutes for our client.
Well, that is quite simple really!
(Noticed that I am saying that a lot in my blog posts of late – interesting . . . )

Strange how a teapot can represent at the same time the comforts of solitude and the pleasures of company.

What exactly is different about Bistro Tea? It seems to come in a packet with holes in…a bit like a tea bag really. And don’t carp on about chemicals in tea bag paper please.
More importantly, from where is the tea harvested? What country? What region? What plantation? What part of the plant?
Does Bistro Tea actually buy tea at source or does it just package tea bought from a third party?
Very curious, seems like it could be an OK idea, looking at perhaps franchising in Canada.
Thanks
